Your device s battery should certainly remain charged or at least improve time between necessary charges.
Ring solar panel not charging.

Check to make sure your stick up cam is powered on.
The panel is in a location that gets sun all day and the two batteries always stayed fully charged.
Once complete fully charge your battery and monitor over time to see if a charge is applying.
Ensure the position is strategic for several hours of direct sunlight each day and that there is no debris covering the panel.
Can i use the solar panel inside.
Is the solar panel weather resistant.
Try charging the battery to 100 as well as checking the solar panel connection is clear of any debris and is securely connected to the cam.

If you ve checked the above and still are not receiving charge from the solar panel please try resetting your ring device by holding the setup button for 20 seconds.
They said per the logs it is charging but i see it dropping 7 8 battery everyday with only a few motion triggers per day it should be able to keep up.
My panel is not a ring branded one so they did not want to replace it although i already had the company send me a new one initially thinking that was the issue but it was not.
No solar panels are made to be used outdoors.

I purchased the outdoor ring security camera with built in spotlight and solar panel about six months ago and extra battery about 6 months ago.
Next check that the adapter is securely inserted and there is no debris in the area.

After checking the connection if you find that it is still not showing as connected in the device health section please try resetting your ring device not the solar panel by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds.
Fully close and re open your app.
Ensure your camera s battery is 100 charged.
If not try another outlet.
Restart your router and run through the setup process again.
