Samsung French Door Fridge Freezer Not Cooling

My samsung refrigerator is not cooling but my freezer is ok 01 the evaporator coils are frosted over the defrost heater assembly turns on a few times throughout the day to melt away any frost that may have accumulated on the evaporator coils.

Make sure that the condenser coils are not covered with dust. Initial problem related with defrost cycle. If it is in demo mode the display will read of of which will disable the compressor in order to save electricity when the refrigerator is on the showroom floor. You can use volt ohm meter to check the defrost sensor for continuity.

When the defrost sensor trips it shut off power to the defrost heater. You can clean the coils easily with a rag or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. Make sure that both the freezer and refrigerator are 1 2 to 3 4 full. Turn off cooling off mode.
