Saw this thread and then looking to go 55 ks7000 only to measure than our tv stand only bought last year was just over 1050mm wide. Was looking at the 49 ks8000 and the overall size is the same size as my 9 year old samsung f86 due the wide bezel. I m in the same boat as you had the tv initially on its legs on a unit but looking to get it onto the wall.

This samsung requires spacers for screw attachment to the tv they are included along with the correct screw size listed in the instructions for the tv.
