Purchase a rubber strap insert such as strappy strips from shoe petals or gel strappies by apara.
Well spring is finally here and with summer just around the corner we thought we would share a quick tip for your sandals that may be too loose.
Simply lay the strap flat on a surface you don t mind scuffing like a piece of wood.
These straps are self adhesive so just peel off the removable backing and stick them directly on the inside of the straps where it s loose.
If your slingbacks are only slightly loose proceed to the next step.
Again the one on the left is for loosening and the one the right shows the straps and direction to pull for tightening.
There are ways however to make adjustments so that your strappy shoes fit comfortably.
Or most people just wrap the extra end of the strap around the heel leash.
Sometimes the straps on sandals just don t have enough holes in them to be snug enough on our heel.
We recommend fitting the sandals so the arch hits in the right place of your foot even if this means having to cinch the straps a little tighter.
If the straps still feel too long you can always send them into our rechaco facility to have them shortened.
